The world is quiet here: Okay, so I’m pretty much brand new to the Supernatural fandom.
I’ve seen most of the first season plus various episodes of other seasons (I watch them with my friend, too).
To be honest, I started watching because I see it all…
Hmm, I don’t ship it for the same reason I don’t ship John and Sherlock. I appreciate that there is a deep friendship being shown and love it for what it is. Not to say I’m poo pooing anyone who feels otherwise, but personally, I’m in love with the idea of a story portraying best friends who would give their lives for each other.
I feel more personally connected to characters who have these deep friendships because I have them in my own life. Its a difficult concept to show correctly (a deep friendship that goes deeper than family in some cases), and I think Sherlock and Supernatural do an amazing job of it.
